Mindset Matters Most

This whole wellness thing - it’s about what’s in your head…

It’s not all about the number.
Or the muscles.
Or the workouts, the foods.
Or the next trending thing.

It’s about your heart and soul.
It’s about your perspective.
Your mindset.
How you think.
And how you feel during your day to day life.

It’s about how you handle the stress.
How you overcome the fear.
How you tackle the adversity.
Find the JOY.
And roll with the unexpected.

I’ve slowly learned these valuable things because for far too long - I lived in a victim mindset.

I was stuck - thinking ALL THE THINGS were happening TO me. That I had no time for anything. That my life was SO BUSY I couldn’t even think straight...

And I was missing it, guys. I was missing the gratitude. The appreciation. The realization that ALL THE THINGS were happening FOR me and it was an opportunity to grow and learn and LIVE.

I was missing it because my head was all wrong and I was buried in my own exhaustion, depression, self-loathing and lack of clarity.

You see - wellness gives you the clarity. For gratitude. For appreciation. For slowing down, making time for what matters and for seeing life for what it is - a gift.

Take some time to get your MIND friends. If you need some tips on how to do so - here are some of my the things I’ve been working to consistently implement into my day to day:

  2. Soak in a Devotional!

  3. Sweat it Out!

  4. Fuel your Body Right!

  5. Listen to + Read Positivity!

Remember - exercising your MIND is just as important as going for a walk, getting enough sleep and eating energy boosting foods. It takes practice and consistency over time to really build a strong MINDSET that will carry you throughout your day to day life.
