Remove the word 'JUST'!
Over on the podcast this week - I shared how powerful it can be to remove the word "JUST" from our vocabulary. This past weekend, I saw the winner of the Dopey Challenge at WDW (Brittany Charboneau), share these powerful words - "Remove the word JUST! Stop downplaying your accomplishments and instead, focus on being PROUD of what you did."
She shared these words of encouragement in response to people congratulating her and then sharing what they did over the race weekend as well. I couldn't love this message more - which is why I felt pulled to share it with you today too. So often, we downplay what we're doing. As moms. As women. As business owners. As partners. We downplay because we feel like we have to justify, over explain or defend where we are, what we're doing on our own path and the choices we're making. The truth? All that matters is following what you feel is meant for you.
My challenge to you this week? REMOVE the word JUST from your vocabulary. Move through some of the uncomfortable you may feel and push into a place where you PROUDLY declare exactly who you are and what you've done, what you're doing and what you're working towards.
